Important: The notification icon shows a red indicator and pulse effect. When you click the icon, the notifications are viewed and the pulse effect will not appear again; however, the red indicator remains while there are unread notifications.
When you select “Mark all as read”, both the red indicator and pulse effect disappear completely.
The read status is intelligently stored in your browser on your device. To test it again, open a New Incognito / Private Window in any browser and visit the page.
*Add a new row to your Google Sheet → the red badge and pulse will *automatically reappear*. I tested this myself — proof is on my YouTube channel.🎥
